A local sustainable microfarm

Microgreens are young, visually stunning, aromatic, flavorful, and nutritious plants.  They are grown on soil and are fully mature between 7 and 21 days.  You might see them as a garnish at fancy restaurants.  Microgreens make everything taste great.  There are a number of health benefits of adding microgreens to your diet.

iHeartGreens was born out of the desire to increase the availability of delicious nutrient dense vegetables in an environmentally sustainable way.  The May Valley/Castro Ranch neighborhoods are in a food desert.   I drive 4 miles to get to one of the larger grocery stores in my area to buy vegetables that are not locally sourced. Farming microgreens has satisfied my goal of eating some of the most nutritious food available.
